WoW needs to give us varying body types for our characters for real. sigh

I enjoy being thorough in my headcanons. not every headcanon needs proof, of course, but sometimes its nice to be able to say "this thing supports the thing I'm choosing to believe/portray about a character" :)

the issue I often come up against personally is age hcs bc I'll sometimes want to portray a sort of parental dynamic with an oc but I feel like I have to cite sources on why I hc a character to be older than most other people probably hc them to be, which I guess I don't HAVE to cite my sources but

so when you're trying to explain the oc you have to preface like "also this oc thing happens specifically bc of this niche hc I have about this canon character who is important to their story" and depending on the hc sometimes you have to explain your logic so it even makes sense in the first place

the problem with having an oc whose lore somewhat relies on a canon character is that sometimes you'll have a headcanon about the canon character that impacts your oc in some way but its a hc only YOU have.

wanted to do a quick concept sketch of Sarlix's dad, Leslie. early into writing my fic, I tried to establish that Sarlix looks a lot like him in a lot of ways, moreso than his two older brothers do

in a meta sense, I did some older expansion content at max level as Perzica where I blasted through quests by only using the pistol shot from a distance, so I've chosen to interpret that as him being a crack shot.
and Bella is a hunter (idr what subclass) so its literally his thing.

trusted to handle safely? sure, technically they won't be accidentally hurting anyone, they all know gun safety and Sarlix personally prefers not to handle guns to begin with.
trusted not to shoot someone on PURPOSE, however? well. do YOU trust a mobster and a pirate not to shoot someone on purpose?

it sucks so bad every time. it feels particularly stupid at my job since I'm never on camera, like what are you even flirting with??? plus its like, on the livestreams there's an audience so its reallyyyy uncomfortable to be in that position in front of a bunch of people 😬😬😬

hard stance if you flirt with an employee at an establishment while they're on the clock they're allowed to immediately kill you. its actually NOT cute or moviesque, its annoying at best or just outright terrifying sometimes

Mordred also resembles her grandfather a lot, especially with her tall ears and darker red hair.
but Sarlix does also visibly have traits similar to his other parent, who I've never really established, such as the more green tone in his skin and his wide rather than tall ears

wip sketches, working on a new banner for my socials

what can I say though, I just like tough men who don't shy away from crying, its nice to write

current wip having him admit a really deep insecurity that upsets him so much he can't stop himself from tearing up, previous wip have him angry cry bc he feels helpless and frustrated when he's injured, he's just having a rough time

I keep making him cry in my writing lately, what's that about
