Since I last posted I had to frog back because my floats were too tight. Many strugglebus hours later I’m finally back to where I was and almost ready to start attempting the heel. Overall quite happy with this as my first colour work attempt!

I tried to watch it last night but I gave up after an hour. The whole thing is my idea of a nightmare, making small talk with strangers for a fake game where they seem to fetishise evil when the world is on fire with actual darkness I just couldn’t

Every time I walk past Trailfinders I have to restrain my 10 year old from going in there to give them a piece of her mind

Hmm I feel a side quest yarn bag is in future!

Really dumb question.. do you ever cross yarns? Is that something I have been doing wrong?

Update- the floats are too tight it won’t go over my son’s heel! Has anyone got any advice?

It’s been a hectic week but commemorating the casting on of my first pair of socks knit on tiny circulars and also my first colour work - using the Xmas sock pattern from Summer Lee #knitsky

This is terrible. Also how did you even manage to get a drop to drink on an East Midlands railway train? I have taken the Ely-Nottingham route 12 times in the last month and only once was there a crumb or drop on offer!

I’m a thrower but I have recently been experimenting with continental though I worry it will affect tension mid project..

I looked up some local yarn shops in the Cambridge area and sadly several of them have closed. I therefore consider if my civic duty to spend the day shopping for artisan yarn in the remaining yarn shops. I don’t make the rules. #knitsky
