itβs unreal how these grown-ass men had no problem destroying untold lives with chatGPT but go crying to a judge when people make fun of them online
Both things can be true:
The Pentagonβs blacklisting of Anthropic is an abuse of executive power.
The daylight between the Pentagon and Anthropic is less than you think.

This is just astonishingly great reporting.
All of the crises the White House has claimed over the last 14 months were planned in advance. All of them.
And however much contempt you have for media outlets who reverently relayed Trump's claim to have no relation to Project 2025, it isn't enough.

Really want to thank @therealnews.com and @maximillianalvarez.bsky.social for having us on to discuss this story in a wider context. Tomorrow is an extremely important day with the bond hearing and we really would appreciate everyone's support. #FreeLud until he's home and truly free
Alabama planned to execute Charles Sonny Burton today as punishment for the death of man he didn't kill
But after widespread condemnation, the governor commuted the death sentence
People recognize felony murder executions are wrong--the Constitution should, too!

There are few things more dangerous than a political movement convinced that God needs help finishing His work. But that is exactly the territory we are entering now. Going Deeper:

Yesterday, Jeffrey Epstein's former account testified, under oath, that the Epstein Estate paid a settlement to one of the women accusing Donald Trump of raping her as a minor, AFTER Epstein had died.
This would end any other President instantly. But the press doesn't care.
And I mean this w/sincere gratitude. I have been tempted to be smaller, set my sights lower when personal circumstances created barriers & challenges. But when I watch/learn from these women who have fought, nurtured, accomplished, sacrificedβ¦Iβm in awe. And itβs why we must show tf up for them.
Black women have changed my life. It started with βthey know how to organizeβ but has moved to βoh and build communities, take care of each other, achieve incredible things under oppression, w/o credit, still find joy &have beautiful skin. Not to minimize hard things but there are so many lessons.
News media worth supporting.
This puts Mitchell Black and Marilyn W. Thompson in the same league as Miami Heraldβs Julie K. Brown. www.postandcourier.com/news/epstein...

In case you're wondering how slow justice moves: after the Trump administration investigated my podcast and removed me from my job at the VA in 2019, I filed a complaint.
We still don't have a trial date set. We're waiting on a summary judgment ruling after a hearing last August.
ICE has begun detaining my neighbors in South Burlington, Vermont π

I agree with this and it's something for which community groups should already be developing concrete plans. I think reparations are already due.
I think this is the best summary and most powerful observation.
βYou canβt end indifference without accountabilityβ
Agreed. I actually heard from someone in a local chapter, an organizer I've worked with for years in Maine. Who was annoyed that the white folks in chapters here heard about this endorsement, but no one they knew was consulted.
One criticism of this endorsement that I don't see in any of the reactions is that SURJ doesn't reference Mainers of color or Maine organizations in this endorsement and so it is yet another example of outsiders not talking to or even noticing Mainers of color and their perspectives
Same! I remember every time I pass the Goya section. Also Martinβs bread aisle products used to love their potato rolls havenβt bought them since.
The thing about Target is Iβve already got used to not going and it was entirely too easy to simply not spend money there π€·π½ youβre dead to me, sweets. Already done had the fune and everything.
Right it just wasnβt actually good. OR good prices. It was a one-stop alternative to Walmart but trendier and more $$. I am literally better without AND more $ in my pocket.
I workout, drink my water, stick to a sleep schedule to be ready for the day when we realize what Black folks did to Target can be applies to the US as a whole.
Tracee Ellis Ross couldnβt even get me to come back to Target
Come meet me at the thrift store, honey
LOL Target how about nope.
Actually, let's TRIPLE down on the Target boycott. π«‘
People underestimate the system-level impact of individual ignorance. Friend who is a lawyer for health insurance company insisted my long covid could be cured by a specific blueberry smoothie recipe found in a wellness influencerβs book, bc she believed it improved her performance asa runner.
