I agree. Also think the league and the surrogates are hypocritical. They’ve made a circus of the festivities, yet they expect the players to tap into some sort of purist competitive spirt from games of yesteryear. They’ve made it a money grab spectacle. Players following suit
Yeah it didn’t look competitive to me really. Some competitive possessions, but not the game as a whole. They keep tinkering with the game, but not the way the festivities as a whole have become bloated.
The game looked like the other games to me, just in shorter spurts so it’s not 48 minutes of lackluster play.
