both the new HDD I got and the ram came in. took a bit for me to figure out where tf the ram was in the NAS. upgraded to 16gb ram. put the new HDD in. I was sweating so much. dripping sweat. afraid it was gonna get on the machine.
migrating my single disk to raid 1 now.

like do i need it. no. do I want it. honestly not sure

actually thinking maybe I use a raspi with pihole as a DNS resolver + put an uptime monitor on it too so that those services don't go down when my nas does lol

trying to import hundreds of gb of photos from icloud to immich, my NAS is struggling and can't do anything else at the same time which is unfortunate because I've started to rely on it for everyday stuff.... lmao.
