also im looking at books and works about the history, culture, and mythology of tainos. We have access to our history and i want to know it as much as I can for the ppl who dont have that opportunity.

My mother is religious but in name only rlly. I dont know if she still is anymore tbh, or how it manifests.

My father gave us the choice to live and believe what we will. He wasn't the best father growing up, but in that respect im grateful for him.

I didnt grow up in religion because my father is the son of a pastor and the trauma was so intense he refused to raise us under any religion.

My first interaction w/ religion was me saying 'omg' in elementry school and my teacher told me 'dont say the lord's name in vain'

I was like 'who?? ??'
