Absolutely tore through “The Believers.” Best book I’ve read in forever. Compulsively readable novel about the AIDS crisis in mid-80s Chicago and the present day aftermath. Gonna be thinking about this one for a long time. 10/10 stars.

Read this when it came out and again a few years back. As a book nerd who played college baseball in the upper Midwest, it couldn’t possibly be more up my alley. Bias aside I still think it’s a great read.
Great albums need a big ol dumb sing-along song in it somewhere. “Saturday Morning” by the Eels, “Super 8” by Isbell etc, “Number One” by John Legend etc. Glad Tyler Childers delivered with “The Bitin’ List.” 🤘
