Nice take on the genre! I like the motivation of the combo meter, though I found the power bar a little too sensitive to enjoy. I set about making a similar Suika inspired game for learning opportunities. Using the Phaser engine helped handle mobile + desktop by default: bertleberry.itch.io/art-fall
Inspired by @jim--partridge.bsky.social to delve into some blasts from the past! Starting with Great Heights, a three round payload map I developed in 2009 (eesh!) for Team Fortress 2.
