I'm watching Shrinking on Apple and Harrison Ford has some great lines, perfectly delivered.

Rio by Mark Owen sounds like it should be a Sam Fender song.
Two evocative illustrations from The Woman In Black featuring the causeway to Eel Marsh House.
Got my @nicktankard.bsky.social originals framed. Aren't they special?
You lost your pop religion.
Blur's best song too. When they were trying to do Madchester.
Loved the Electronic one. Listen to the Massive Attack one most these days. But it's PM Dawn who most evokes the era for me.
A wonderful article itemising the greed and immorality of Andrew & Fergie.

It remains the only news that has ever staggered me physically. I was baking a cake, turned on the radio to get the 1pm headlines and a primal moan of anguish tore out of me. Still today, that's the only response. Irreconcilable horror, too big to accept.
Steve Bell's cartoon of a class photograph of little children violently ripped through.
It doesn't seem possible that something so evil could be done to so many little children in so gentle a setting. It is, qualitatively if not quantitatively, as bad a thing as has ever happened. The abysmal cruelty of it.

The only person who should fuck off more than Tony Blair 20 years ago is Tony Blair now. Warmongering weirdo.
A lugubrious chap in thick framed spectacles.
France's coach, who is played by Pedro Pascal in swimming goggles, is not happy.
Scotland are absolutely tonking the French at le rugby.
Dilys the black and white fluffy cat gazes at me while sitting as close to my face as felinely possible.
I love my cat.
I like how it evokes two Daphne deM stories at once, with Venice and birds.
I watched the first episode and it's solid but all the protagonists are middle aged white men with mid-length brown hair & beards, donc to be parfaitement honest je ne entirely sure pas qui est qui.
There's a new French thriller on Apple, The Hunt, that seems to have had its release delayed by several months while the credits (and maybe the finances?) were amended to reflect that it's based on an out of print 1973 novel - Shoot, by Douglas Fairbairn. Some behind the scenes drama there?
I think Saharan dust has made the whole country a bit smudgey.
Also, Midnight Mass on Netflix if you haven't already seen it. Mike Flanagan series.
Sea Fever (2019).
Priorities.
I just went to order it and discovered that I pre-ordered it last August. Thanks, past me.
Please enjoy the guinea pig cameo in this property listing. espc.com/property/9-f...
Why does it have Marc Almond on the cover?
What if they're one of the presenters on the Mellow Magic radio station?
Itβs actually FEWER MisΓ©rables
THANKYOU
Excuse me, you've forgotten something important.
