I do feel ppl hesitate to move too far from canon and force ideas onto existing characters, which can make the character’s original essence get lost. I think it's just fear of drifting into OC territory (which sadly many think lowly of) Just go wild man!

Cause I was drawing things and adding too many non existent characteristics and realizing oh shit, this is a new person! Did I just create an original character? This is so cool.

I get the freedom to write however you want, but when does a character become so out of character that it's basically just an OC with their name?
