Cool, thank you! I'll for sure keep that in mind!

Signups are open for a limited time. Free during beta β if you sign up now you'll get a discount when the full version launches (if there ends up being a charge at all).
You need a Discogs account to get started.

A screenshot of gaveitaspin.com showing a list of recently spun (logged) listens from the account of "geo". Each listing has a listen count, a rating, date, format tag, and listening notes.
Built for the people who still press play on purpose. No algorithms deciding what you should hear. No autoplay. Just a small community of listeners who care about the physical experience of music.
I've logged over 140 of my own spins and add features every week.
What you can do right now:
- Import your entire Discogs collection (artwork, metadata, tracklists)
- Log spins with star ratings and session notes
- Auto-scrobble vinyl/CD/tape plays to Last.fm
- Follow friends and see their spins in real time
- Generate QR codes for records β scan to log in seconds
I've been building a listening tracker for physical media collectors. Sync your Discogs collection, log your spins, scrobble to last.fm, and follow friends to see what's on their turntable.
I'm opening up signups for a day or so to get some beta feedback. Free and no CC req'd.

Cannot praise this app enough! If you have ADHD & struggle with object permanence, especially with people in your life, or maybe just appreciate reminders to stay in touch with friends and family, get Wavepal.

Hey, I made an app to help you remember to stay in touch with your friends (cuz I'm really bad at remembering to stay in touch with my friends)
It's on sale right now, and you can skip the waitlist and get access today for half price!
Go to wavepal.app/friends to get it.
I've never missed a band as much as I miss Mutemath.
I donβt know how long this has been a thing but Apple Musicβs Classical app has this really cool listening guide for a good number of pieces! VERY cool.
Almost all my socials are geolessel but my blog/personal site has long been at geoffreylessel.com. I think I'd like to keep the full name as canonical for my writing and I could of course redirect/mirror the other domains to that as well.
I have been undecided on this point for a LOOONG time and I still can't decide. Inaction isn't working for mean anymore. So not I ask you: do you think I should make my bsky handle @geolessel.social, @geolessel.com, or @geoffreylessel.com?
Who do you know who wants to come work full time on #ElixirLang OSS tooling? (Boosts appreciated!)

Todayβs the day! Avenglowβs (my daughter) EP is out. Go have a listen. Iβm pretty sure youβll like it. music.apple.com/us/album/as-...
I am fortunate to have been able to see the opera by my favorite composer (Debussy) from the Vienna Opera House a couple of days ago. It was amazing.
Maybe I'll get paid in hugs
β€οΈ she's gonna love hearing that!
Here's a link for you Spotify peeps: open.spotify.com/track/65Xh1R...
The first thing I did today was listen to my daughter's (artist name of Avenglow) new single, "little love notes + songs about you". I suggest you do as well! music.apple.com/us/album/lit...
I DO like it!
One apparent benefit of giving a rushed talk at #elixirconf is inspiring a well written deep dive into the same subject! Nice post @peterullrich.com and thanks for the shoutout. β€οΈ
Nice!
Love me some binary pattern matching!
Nice! I just saw this post this morning (but haven't read it yet).
I mentioned ADS-B signals in my ElixirConf talk about binaries and bitstrings. I first tried out SDR over 10 years ago but haven't gone back to it in a long time. I bet it's much better now; I'm considering trying again. I think it'd be cool to show the info of aircraft as they pass over my house.
Ummm, pardon me? Nice! Well done.
iPhone notification - βGentle nudge from Wavepal: Hey Jesse, send a friendly wave to Jessica McCabe today. πβ
Got this lovely notification today, reminding me to reach out to a friend!
Hoping to get this early version of the iOS app out to our beta users soon.
