In the context of everything (CL, the line up, recent capitulations) I genuinely think that was one of the best wins in the past few seasons #nufc

If we keep the ball by playing it simple we'll win.
If we give it away needlessly with bad passes we'll concede, it's that simple #nufc
I'm unclear on whether we're playing Woltemade in midfield because we have injuries or it's a long term plan?
When Bruno and Miley are fit we'll have 6 other CM's, so then what?
(This isn't a criticism of him, just a thought that popped into my head) #nufc
Yeah, there was on period of possession that was class, where it went from Barnes, back to Ramsdale who pinged a quality ball up top.
We had possession for about 2 mins, and it ended in a chance. Need more of that
Woltemade just can't play in midfield in a game where we're not going to have much of the ball, at home against a lower table team then maybe.
This is so obviously a counter attacking game for us, love him as a player in general but I just dont get it #nufc
Since Madrid scored the third Darren Fletcher has not stopped talking, literally not for a second, just take a breath man
Having slept on it I'm still just as gutted, I know we played well and it's a good result but still.
I think it's mainly because we fucking deserved the win, when we've immediately thrown away leads before (Everton) we couldn't really complain #nufc
There wasn't a single delay in added time, how the fuck can he play a second past the 4 mins?!?! #nufc
Glad Barnes has stayed on, even though he's not been up to much so far you feel he's always got a goal in him #nufc
Genuinely forgot Lewandowski was playing #nufc
Love Port Vale blasting Sam Fender at any opportunity for the Sunderland fans
Pressed send exactly as the ball hit the back of the net #nufc
So, Hall out of position, Burn LB against Savinho and Woltemade still in midfield..
Really hope I'm wrong but this doesnt look good #nufc
If only there was a way the ref could watch it back to make sure he got such a crucial decision right...
Maybe I'm wrong but it looks like Ramsey overhits the touch, the keeper comes near him and he falls over.
He then lies there with his head in his hands because he's annoyed with himself, doesnt even appeal for a pen, such bullshit #nufc
These lot are nearly as bad as Spurs #nufc
I swear this Olympics is just a curling tournament with the odd bit of other sports here and there.
Every time I have a look what's on it's ALWAYS curling
Just when I start becoming pessimistic about the season as a whole #nufc
100% denied a goal scoring opportunity. Doesn't matter if it was 40 yards away, it was still an open goal #nufc
Woltemade's ball control never ceases to amaze me, so good #nufc
They started playing a bit and what did we do..
Sat back in a low block and let them build momentum, at one point Elanga literally ran away from the ball to get back in a defensive position #nufc
So fucking predictable
Just when you're feeling really down and pessimistic about your team along come Spurs and make you feel better about everything
Yeah true, suppose Ramsey/Willock need to step up and do that role.
It's not even a criticism of the players tbh, it looks like a really clear tactical decision to focus down the right wing and cross
Barnes is up against Gray as well, who's a midfielder, should be testing him more but everything is going down the right
We've played well and controlled the game but everything we do results in a cross..
Bruno not really been involved, need him to get on it and start finding players in the box, spurs are there for the taking
Also, give to Barnes a bit so he can give and go/cut in #nufc
Agree with this, the question isn't actually whether Howe is the right man for the rest of this season, it's whether he's right to lead us into next season - which will hopefully have better recruitment, more time to train etc.
We know with the right conditions he can be really good
You could see that coming a mile off, the ball to Outtara so obvious, isolated Trippier and skinned him.
Needs a rethink on that side #nufc
Willock and Ramsey have actually done alright but need Gordon or Barnes on the left wing second half #nufc
May as well play Hall CF, he'd keep hold of it at least #nufc
