Australia leads the world in arresting climate and environment protesters A new study shows more than 20 per cent of climate and environment protests in Australia lead to arrests, more than in the UK, Norway, and the United States.

Labor and Liberal governments have passed 49 anti-protest laws across the country over the last two decades.

It is damning (& history will judge us harshly) but no surprise that 🇦🇺 leads the world on climate protest arrests.

But I reckon >95% of market customers get there by car, with the expectation that it will be convenient to shop, drop stuff into their car, and drive back home. Aren’t they just catering to the majority of their clientele?

These days I feel it begins to look a lot 'less' like Christmas in the capital. Its like our local gov doesn't go out of its way to decorate the streets of the city like they use too.
