Health charities are vital for the health infrastructure of the UK - raising awareness, aiding early diagnosis, providing long-term support, identifying the key issues facing patients and healthcare professionals, and funding life-changing research & treatments.
They help 10s of millions of people.
1/2 🧵 It is the job of individual charities to point out the implications of government choices for the people those charities exist to serve. Talk of “breaking the culture” of the voluntary sector is not helpful. 👇
