Awesome!
@lionmom
I ran for CD-27 in Texas and plan on doing so again in the next cycle. I've been married to my sweet husband for 30 years, have an amazing daughter, and have taught public school for the last 18 years.
Awesome!
Thank you!! What are some things you would like to help with? Volunteer organization? Social media? Fundraising?
I'm honored to have been chosen for this cohort! Emerge helps train democratic women to run for office and win! Please help me by making a donation to help with tuition. My goal is $950.

I'll be running for TX-CD 27 again in '26. I'm a 1st grade school teacher, I would love some additional support!
I received this heartwarming gift in the mail today, to whomever thought I needed it, you were right! It made my day! Thank you, whoever you are, for thinking of me!
I wish I knew how to create a starter pack.๐ค
I spent the morning at Big Rocks Park in Grandbury, Texas, yesterday. It is really a beautiful and unique place to visit.
It's not just "campaign talk" when I say that the people and places are special to me, and that I hold them near to my heart. These 14 counties are special and we deserve someone who will represent us in Washington. I look forward to seeing you all over the next two years!
I've learned so much from all of you, and I've learned so much about myself and I've learned that I can't give up now. We need to keep our heads up and we need to continue to lift up and protect those around us.
On this Thanksgiving Day, I just want to take a moment to say, "Thank you!". Thank you to those of you who supported me in my run for CD-27. Thank you to my husband and daughter. Thank you to all of you who embraced us. So many of you became what I hope are lifelong friends.
We held a postcard writing party during my campaign. Here are just a few of the many who stepped up and volunteered their time. I'm so grateful for good people!
What are lists? ๐คฃ
Yesterday was National Prematurity Day. This amazing young lady came into the world at 30 weeks instead of 40, weighing in at 3 pounds 6oz. She is now a college senior and will graduate in May. Needles to say, I am so grateful for her doctors and the health care I was able to receive!
This was my favorite series!
