Is this a trick question?

(Though given their current stance he doesn't need to go anywhere yet)
It's amazing that GC brain and absolute obsession with trans people can lead people utterly contradictory conclusions. I wouldn't be surprised if he joined the Conservatives or Farage's mob in a few years due to Labour not being sufficiently Trumpian on trans people.
I mean in what way is Labour 'standing firm against far-right extremism and racist rhetoric, and making sure billionaires pay their fair share of taxes'.
Notwithstanding the casual omission of his suspension from the GP the mental gymnastics he goes through to claim all he (apparently) believes in can be found in the Labour Party.
While I suspect this to be an accurate description, it is still a good sign. If the weather vanes are turning it must mean the prevailing wind is in that direction which is considerably more important.
Iβm not holding my breath. That would require the ability to have empathy; something the anti trans mob are incapable of or have suppressed just to function.
None of this is surprising - her full throated support of Sandie Peggie suggests morals are just what other people need to abide by. . . why limit this maxim to how to treat marginalised people. . .
I believe Reform are always open to 'promising' defectors . . .
Which she conveniently omits any mention of on the podcast . . .
I saw that Hannah Barnes professed mock incredulity at why the PB trial suddenly had concerns raised by the MHRA a few days ago - I will assume she will suggest this has nothing to do with the change of heart . . .
Hopefully, one day when honesty returns, people like her will be seen for what they are and appropriately ignored by all.
Just been listening to the NS resident 'medical expert' transphobe, Hannah Barnes, barely being able to contain her glee at the shutting down of the PB trial. The usual distortion of facts pepper her interview as well as the usual transphobic dog-whistles.
βStarmerβs response should be a government that finally, truly reflects him.β Tom Baldwin - The Guardian.
One might assume that any leader that hasnβt been βallowedβ to lead in a way he truly believes in by those around him for 5 years may not actually be suited to being leader.
Starmer:
But, but, there were so many people there when I arrived; they had flags and everything. The Guardian themselves said how nice it was to see me there.
If you're telling me that I'm not popular, then explain that . . !
'The next election is too important to let that happen. Itβs a fight we can win, and weβre going to win it'.
Translation:
Er, yeah so that's it - vote for me and all that - you don't think it is too soon to bring back Morgan . . . (or Peter . . .)?
'and the risk of splitting the progressive vote so that Reform come through the middle'
Translation:
Just like it did at G&D - no wait hang on . .
'We will continue to warn of the risk the Greens pose: the risk of extreme policies like legalising all drugs and pulling out of NATO'
Translation:
I will stop at nothing at using every dirty trick I can to further my cause - I mean it isn't as if I have any alternative proposals.
'Weβve seen it with George Galloway, who won two mid-term by elections but held neither of those seats in a general election'
Translation:
Just in case you missed my other dog-whistles, here's another for good measure.
Translation:
The first past-the-post system is marvellous isn't it - and for some reason some of you want PR - π€·ββοΈ
'Weβve seen that before. Weβve seen it with the Lib Dems, who have often won mid-term by-elections against both the Conservatives and Labour, but never been able to come close to winning nationally'
'The Greens may have won here, but they simply do not have the resources, the activist base or the local knowledge to replicate this victory across the country.'
Translation:
If nothing else fails a pig-headed refusal to face facts will get us through.
Translation:
They probably won't but I've learnt to sound positive these days after everyone got sniffy at the beginning with my amazing negativity.
'It will show what weβve been saying from the outset of this year: the country is turning a corner. These are all Labour policies, putting Labour values into action - policies no other party would or could deliver.'
'more free breakfast clubs opening, Pride in Place funding coming through, NHS waiting lists continuing to fall'

And some more tinkering . .
landmark Employment Rights Act
Translation:
Some top tinkering (nicely watered down of course)
money off energy bills
Translation:
Not a 'policy' I know, but you guys probably won't notice
the cruel two-child limit scrapped
Translation:
And look I gave you something I didn't want to do, didn't I
'And look at the policies that are going to make a difference in peopleβs lives in the coming months'
Translation:
If you need reminding of just how important I am:
'energy bills falling'
Translation:
It is amazing how coincidental this was that this news came out the day before polling day - I'm such a genius; not even Morgan thought of that one!
'Look at the good economic news weβve had in the past week: inflation and borrowing coming down'
Translation:
Conveniently, macro economic events that I have no control over have aligned briefly to suit me. But I'm in the chair at the time so I get to take all credit - those are just the rules.
'Over the coming months, people will feel the benefit of the long-term decisions this government is taking. '
Translation:
If they aren't grateful after that then, well, they don't deserve me.
