This gothic lantern was built in the space using our laser cutter and workshop facilities, with layered wood construction and LED lighting.
A brilliant example of what happens when people have access to shared tools, time, and encouragement.

Very busy but very successful weekend! One wall, multiple racks, and many many many trips to the dump later, we have our new storage area online and the main room cleared ready to be the new woodwork shop! Special shout out to Matt G for organising and being the driving force for this weekend.

Another hour left to come down to our open day! Sorry for the lack of updates, we've been busy!
We started the day with 80 stamp sheets, current count is 13, meaning we've had 67 people through the space today!
If you are planning on coming to this open day and have reserved a ticket, then please check your email for instructions on how you can help us run a smoother day.
Ideally we don't want all 85 of you(!) turning up on the dot at 11am...
With the current number of reserved tickets sitting at 65, I'm going into overdrive to make keyrings today. We'll have more being produced on the day but this should be enough to tide over the initial horde. Hopefully people don't all turn up at 11...
