People saying that Tamworth had a better chance in extra time rather than in a lucrative replay have clearly never watched their team give every last drop of physical and mental energy for 90 minutes against a higher-level team and then watch them crumble in the extra 30.

Doing Saturday afternoon on #facup 3rd round day on Radio London used to be one of the great challenges. Frantic activity, upsets, goals, great stories everywhere. Today’s commentary starts at 2, 2 more cup ties at 3, one in League Two, Orient at 6, loads tomorrow. Magic huh.

Lots of lovely tributes to Johnnie Walker. I first heard him on the old Radio 5 doing the AM Alternative. I sometimes feel the old Radio 5 was so fleeting I almost imagined it. And yet it ignited a love for radio in me. It’s memory is a little fainter today. RIP Johnnie.
