Advent book advice please!
I'm running an advent course on how to read scripture but there will be some who will want a traditional book of reflections alongside/instead. Anyone come across one that links Advent with themes of understanding Scripture. Something on Jesus as the Word maybe?
One of our little ones came up for a blessing on his own today, took my hand and led me to where his mum was sat cradling his new baby sister, so that I could give mum communion and his dad a blessing.
Children are often the best of us. Praying for joy and peace for all the world’s children today.

Planning to pick up retreat reading on my way through Heathrow today (yeah it’s an unashamedly exciting retreat).

I’ve just twigged the feeling - it’s like walking into SST on that opening afternoon when there’s a little uncertainty tempered by the knowledge your people are going to be just inside, you’ve just got to spot them.
This feels so new and so familiar at the same time. But it certainly feels better already!
