This kind of thing is why I did that thread on tax policy yesterday. There just isn't a serious inequality-flattening or revenue argument against tax cuts for the 99% at this point. If we can trade cuts for them for hikes on the 1% we should absolutely do that. It's good politics and good policy.

Your job is to educate, not discipline, focus on your actual duties instead of trying to play act at being cops and maybe our education standards wouldn’t be so abysmal.

Quite honestly American public schools completely lack the credibility to be trusted with disciplining anyone’s children at all. They have never managed to do it without being exceedingly racist and otherwise discriminatory and I don’t think they should be trusted with the responsibility.
