@cinthiamoorenv
Single mom, first-generation Latina, and Assemblywoman representing my community in AD11, where I grew up and am raising my son. Proud to be the first Mexican-born woman to serve in the #NVLeg.
SNAP is a lifeline to millions of working families, ensuring children do not have to go hungry. These new work requirements kick thousands of Nevadans off lifesaving benefits while doing nothing to address the causes of food insecurity. The courts must block these changes to SNAP.
I am proud to be endorsed by @nvconservation.bsky.social. As a parent, there is nothing more important than conserving the beauty of our state’s natural resources for future generations.
It’s official, I am running for reelection to once again fight for the people of Assembly District 11 in Carson City. Our state is facing so many challenges, from our housing shortage to ICE disrupting our communities. I am ready to fight. Will you join me?
This rule change does nothing to address the housing crisis. It's time to stop scapegoating immigrants so we can get back to the real issues.
Rather than stopping wealthy investors from buying up single-family homes and driving up costs for working families, Trump is trying to bar mixed-status families from receiving housing assistance.
Over the weekend, a Mexican cartel leader was killed by the Mexican military, which led increased violence across Mexico. My thoughts are with the people of Mexico and anyone who is in the country right now.
ICYMI: Last October I spoke at JD Smith Middle School about the importance of school lunch programs to ensure that every student is healthy and ready to learn.

Happy Presidents’ Day!
Today we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Power of Love Gala that supports the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health's life-changing work. The incredible research and support they provide for our community has uplifted countless families.
Thank you @aclunv.bsky.social for fighting to protect all of our privacy.
The DMV provided sensitive data to ICE and DHS about Nevadans, and we deserve to know what was shared and with whom. The federal government does not have a right to this information, and the DMV does not have the authority to share it.
Please join me and the East Las Vegas Dems on Feb. 13 at 5 p.m. for our monthly Q&A session at Abuela's Tacos. Bring a donation of food, period products, and clothing for Project Marilyn to get free drinks and tacos!
I had the very special opportunity alongside Senator Flores to present the new Chivas Soccer Academy with a proclamation honoring their new school. The Chivas, like my own family, come from Guadalajara. I grew up watching them on TV, and now we get to have them right here in Las Vegas.
Every member of our community deserves to live freely and openly as themselves. I am proud to have @sseq.bsky.social as a partner in the fight for LGBTQ+ Nevadans!
Breaking news: Both Liam and his father, who were unlawfully detained despite following the rules, have been returned home to Minnesota. While this is a big win, no one—especially not a 5-year-old child—should have their lives and education disrupted just so that ICE can make a quota.
This month we honor and celebrate black history and culture!
#BlackHistoryMonth
I am proud to stand with more than 600 fellow legislators across the country in demanding an end to ICE's occupation of Minneapolis and other cities. ICE and other immigration officials are violating our rights every day and persecuting our community members. It has to stop.
Nothing is more fundamental than the right to make choices about our own bodies. I'm honored to have earned the support of Planned Parenthood Advocates Mar Monte, and I will continue fighting alongside them for our right to make our own health care decisions.
Today marks 80 years since the liberation of the death camps. We must never forget what can happen when hateful words become hateful actions, and when ordinary people turn a blind eye to injustice.

Pretti died as he lived, attempting to protect a woman who was pushed to the ground by officers. His last words were “Are you okay?”
#ICEOUT
Alex Pretti was a VA ICU nurse who was loved by his family and coworkers. He was not a domestic terrorist. The only terrorists are lawless ICE and DHS agents endangering our lives and violating our rights.
Last Saturday, a DHS officer shot and killed a 37-year-old American citizen who was lawfully filming their activity in Minneapolis. DHS officials are trying to frame the shooting as self-defense, but video evidence shows that Alex Pretti, who was a lawful gun owner, did not draw his weapon.
A 🧵🪡:
Governor Lombardo has made it clear that he values Elon Musk's wealth over the safety of Nevadans. If Lombardo does not have our backs, it's time we elect a governor who will.
During the 2025 legislative session, worker safety was one of my top priorities. That's why I'm proud to have earned the support of LiUNA 872's members. I look forward to continuing to fight alongside them for Nevada's workers because everyone deserves to be safe and treated fairly at work.
Last month's meeting of the East Las Vegas Democratic Club was a success. Thank you to Councilwoman Olivia Diaz for hosting. Join us for our January 28th meeting with special guest Congressman Ro Khanna!
This is a reminder: ICE can only enter your home with a signed judicial warrant from a judge (on the left). An administrative warrant (on the right) is not valid to enter your home.
Over and over, Joe Lombardo has shown us that he's willing to sacrifice the health and safety of Nevada workers to appease Elon Musk. It's time the Governor's office answers for the missing records from their meeting with the CEO of Musk's Boring Co.

When we say that ICE is a danger to our communities, this is what we mean.
