are they declining on home turf too?

he's a horrible little shill and a wretched presenter to boot.
takes no time. it's no tome. big Fall fans will get more out of it than I did I'm sure, I like them but only know bits and bobs. v direct and pithy and Manc, in the best way
I just read his autobiography. very very funny.
there's a footpath from Sopley, bus runs there from Christchurch i think. useful thread on Birdforum took me to footpathmap.com
thanks Dawn. do you mind me asking how much the taxi was?
can I ask how you reached the bird from the train station, please? is it a bus and a dangerous walk? I've done a few of those!
ah that must have been fantastic though, i haven't seen them in donkeys now. what was the venue?
lots, but my favourite was Pulp. me and my mates made up a fair proportion of their London fanbase, saw them play a Christmas show to a crowd of about 60 once. we were on first name terms with the band! I was Pulp People (fan club) member #132 or something. when they blew up big it was glorious.
Finally got a decent bird on my trail camera. Red-eyed Vireo 12th October nr Port of Ness, Isle of Lewis

More and more Palestinian accounts are getting unfairly labelled as SPAM by Bluesky, as well as suspended and even deleted, for simply trying to share their voices and trying to survive genocide.

10 years of daily walks through Northbay plantation thinking one day this will produce a mega, well, today is that day! Found an Eastern Bonelli's Warbler singing and chipping away in the sunny glade at the far end of the pathway. First record for Barra. #BirdingScotland
I've encountered a surprising number of xenophobes in the birding world, did not know this guy was another of them. appreciate the heads up. got to call these wastes our for what they are - nasty, racist pricks.
@portlandbirdobs.bsky.social Visited the Obs briefly this afternoon for only my second time, was agog at the glorious Acrocephalus painting by DIMW laying around in the hall! Sightings to report from today, Tree Pipit at Bumpers Lane this morning, & a pair of Wheatears in the sheep field by the Obs.
thanks Steve!
many thanks. is it only really worth it at first light or can they be found later in the day, do you know?
I might go for this flock by train and foot, any chance of a pin of the most likely area, please?
