It rained last night while the ground is frozen (yay Canada) so our backyard is just a sheet on ice with water on top of it.
And based on how quickly old lady dog came back to the door, I’m pretty sure she stood at the top of the deck stairs and decided nope, she didn’t need to poop today actually.
Yes I know I need walks in the fresh air for my mental health but if that air could be about twenty degrees less fresh than this I’d really appreciate it, thanks

Grandkitty still takes great pleasure in jumping on Sera to get a big hissy spitty reaction, even though he is almost two and should probably know better. But sometimes when she’s snoozing he’ll carrrefully sidle in next to her. Progress?
I was the second one up this morning for a change so my husband had already made the coffee and I felt a genuine flutter of excitement in my stomach when I smelled it through my bedroom door. Coffee is exciting!
