Realized I never shared the cover of this one. I usually get lazy when I'm done with Kinktober so I just do a digital cover but this year I had an idea for something more fun.
If you're doomscrolling, guess what? So far there are 51 kฤkฤpล chicks hatched and thriving this season, the same number of birds as we had in TOTAL in the 90s! Only one chick has died and there are still fertile eggs waiting to hatch!

It's mismanagement on so many levels.
-- our org being restructured and many roles being removed including the one I applied for four months (of radio silence) ago, which is still up on our website along with other openings that don't exist, while being told to "go ahead and apply" to new roles.
Tension and distrust are so high rn.
Had my meeting with management. They're making stupid choices and shouting down any questions and concerns raised. Policies being enforced unevenly, communication poor (being told it will be improved by everyone being in the office, as though they cant send mass emails)--
Oof I hate the sound of loud lawn equipment. Condolences. I'd rather visit your yard! I'm knee deep in plans for my own-- how to replace the lawn and encourage natives. Been reading a lot about biodiversity!
