Someone was trying to heal him and someone was trying to harm him and the latter won out in that contest as they almost always do. Murder being so much quicker and easier than medicine. I need everyone whose response to yesterday's animation news was "Just go indie!" to understand two things.

1.) "Work For Hire" means the company owns what you've created. You have no rights to it unless explicitly stated in the contract.

2.) Going indie does not pay the bills.

The killing of Iranian children during an illegal war is an impeachable offense (not to mention a grave crime) and Congress should really act like it.

I don't want to see apologies from creators for their choices to honor their morals. I want to see corporations respect artists' autonomy and consent, ESPECIALLY in regards to "policies" that would compromise the worker's moral integrity.

People have a right to their own identity, pronouns, gender, and other concepts that only exist to help us express who we are. You don’t get to tell someone what gender or terms they have to use just like you don’t get to tell someone what their name is.

We now have access to powerful and complex tools at no cost, it can be overwhelming. Sometimes the best way to spark creativity is to add contrains. Try restricting your color palette, or work with just cubes, or even try a more limited tool. Boundaries can push you!
