I was so excited to “find” it for her years later and I still have it. My 3yo daughter loves pretending to be a mermaid and I’m ready to break it out for her.
Remakes of things I love make me nervous. The Little Mermaid was my favorite Disney movie when I was young. I had a tie-dye blue and green dress I wore around my waist as a tail. I’m wearing it in my brother’s prom pictures. I wore it so much my mother hid it and told me she lost it.
