Mediterranean Shearwater (if we’re all going Avilist) was my 180th bird on the Selsey Peninsula today, only 20 to go to become a member of the small 200 club!

This young male Merlin at Medmerry brings me to 109 for the Selsey Peninsula year list. Better pace than my Sussex year list last year!
Cracking Seawatch off Selsey this morning! Highlight had to be this Close Sooty Shearwater that went west.

East Head, West Wittering looked as rare as ever this morning, but was nearly completely bird less. 10 Chiffchaff was all I could unearth. Sussex is not having the Autumn I require of it! Where are the rares!
