I was being driven in WGN on Monday in an EV and the owner said there is some sort of free charging happy hour in Lower Hutt?

Inner city - just donβt mention 15 minutes!
The Scottish comedian, Billy Connolly, had a wonderful take on The Old Firm.

I spent 4 hours in the domestic terminal at WGN on Monday waiting for my flight - having left my mask at home! I seem to have come thru ok. π€
The EcoTanks are great and very economical printers IF you print in colour regularly. Else you end up needing to get the jets cleaned at, for me, $125 a time (twice) in ChCh. Iβm getting the impression I need to print a small sample sheet every 3/4 days.
We have 240v in NZ so I can overnight charge about 1/4 of our 64KW battery in our KIA Niro. Iβd imagine that if I had a long commute that Iβd accept that overnight charging wasnβt enough and use a public charger to get it back up - only when necessary. Next house needs solar though.
Doesnβt that suggest you have to *first* vote in your primaries so you donβt just get a Dino?
Let me guess. Swing states! Especially in counties marginally Blue.
Keeps moving the money βupwardsβ to the 1% - and otherwise βsorted.β π€·π»

Used Hard Mode today for the first time and got it in 4. First Hard Mode badge! Yay! Wasnβt keen to tempt fate until I got my run of 500 badge. Will stick to Hard Mode for now. π€
I still canβt hear βHave I the right?β (Honeycombs) without thinking of the night in 1971 when my best man told me about his fiancΓ©eβs tragic road accident and his subsequent suicide attempt. It was playing on his stereo.
I drank a lot of brandy that night yet still drove home seemingly unimpaired.
It didnβt deserve 15 mins of TV1 News tonight! Well - unless it was to distract from more Coalition shenanigans. π€·π»
Is he that gullible?

Well - at least Brownlee didnβt respond with a βDonβt you know who I am!β π€·π»
So - Evie didnβt have any udder things to report on?
With maple surple! (A bit of cream wouldβve been nice too.) Welcome to Lent!

Dentist cost me NZ$810 the other day - broken fillings (1 large, 1 small) plus annual checkup and a quick de-tartar. π’
Like yanking the $9 toll suggestion, another attempt by the Coalition of Chaos to βprotectβ their AKL electorates.
Regret not exploring the area around Hanksville. We had stayed the night near Torrey and were driving to Moab - cramming in quick detours into the Arches plus Canyonlands. A bit much!
Wow! I donβt think Iβve ever seen such an expression of the beauty of geometry before!
What I find sad about the whole elections system globally is that voting is ultimately the ONLY real civic power/right that I have.
That power/right is something that should be protected for all citizens - and cherished by the voterβs government and local authorities.
The definition of democracy?
Here in NZ no voter ID is required other than to state your full name so you can be looked up on the roll and the name crossed off. (All rolls are later crossed checked)
You can also cast a special vote if you are away from your electorate on holiday etc.
When we go away for a holiday, I take the master backup drive (3 1/2β portable) with me while the daily backup drives go in the fire safe - which is also pretty burglary proof.
About as much as one can do.
Travel costs? Similar to staging a neutral round in Perth? Accommodation costs probably gouge wherever.
No doubt govt will tout it as being great for AKL - their happy electoral hunting ground.
