Thank you!
Enjoy your time focusing on PBs and YA! For me Iβll do a query if an extra special opportunity arises, but Iβm not actively querying with everything else going on. My hope is to return to working on a middle grade in March after a school trip to Mexico at the end of Feb.
I have some hope for middle schoolers. My school doesnβt allow outside screens and has strict guidelines for screens during class. So many kids have books and sneak in reading when theyβre supposed to be doing classwork (which makes me π.)
Nooo! Iβm so sorry! I hope with all hope that this project will see the light again. And best of luck on the pb submission.
7yo was a big year for me: I moved states, had my first major panic attack, & wrote my first poem. Things only got more tangled from there.

Thank you to Menderist for including my reflection on monarchs, teens, and reading in their Growing Hope in 2025 issue. π± π¦ π
Thank you! I love your piece with monarchs and books and kiddos too! My son who is 17 today collected milkweed pods back in 3rd grade and sprinkled the seeds in our flower bed. This year we had 3 monarchs take flight!
Is your novel the one coming out in 2027? Canβt wait to read it!
