Just finished reading The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell. Wow. What a huge accomplishment of a novel. And how sad, how devastating. It was a random charity shop find, and it became my absolute favourite read of the year. A truly incredible book.

I'm so gutted it's already over! I had a lot of fun waiting for it week after week and reading people's theories.
