Working on Pant and Click: a 3d platformer where you play as pants and click on stuff. Run around a damaged PC and recover files, while taking notes and solving puzzles along the way! ππ±π§© Donos are so appreciated! ----> π΅ https://ko-fi.com/pantdev π΅

Oh yeah hi other social media, I'm making a game. Check it out I made the funny brown bricks.
Yo what should I be using to post all my stuff everywhere all the time. I can't deal with this 'Post 9 different places' stuff and I keep ignoring bsky.
I just set up donos if you care thanks π

Where he go?
I could definitely make some double chocolate cookies by changing 1 color in the texture if I want lol. But I think I might make these basically red coins, where there's an amount in a level, and you're rewarded for getting all of them. But if you don't accept cookies, you'll get donuts of course π
Guys guys really important update
I added cookies πͺπͺπͺπͺ
If your brand or IP consists of 2 contrasting elements, I think it strengthens it a ton. I've made it a certainty that I will be the only game about these particular ideas. If other people want to make a pants game, it's clear what route they will take. I wanted to be sure I did not take that route.
I don't think there is necessarily anything WRONG with Frogger eating bugs, or Donkey Kong collecting bananas, but the feel is different, and too many devs fall back on this as a crutch. For everything people don't love about Yooka-Laylee, I think that the pagies and entering books were memorable.
I'm making a game about pants running around a computer. I'm often told things like "You should collect buttons!" or "Okay but what do pants have to do with computers?" as if anybody gives the same scrutiny to established properties. Again, Mario fights a turtle by consuming flowers to shoot fire.
They made Mario a plumber because they made pipes, that's it. Let things just be what they are, stop going "What would a plumber collect?" because that is not how the pros do it. Mario isn't constantly grabbing wrenches and bouncing off of plungers, and if he did, it would not land in the same way.
When designing a wacky and creative game world, I want developers to stop landing on the obvious answers to questions. Mario created iconography that, for all intents and purposes, is stupid and makes no sense. The collectibles, and a bunch of mountains, have eyes. A plumber is fighting a turtle?
Thanks! Everything has been a series of slow iterations. I came up with the pants first, then added a cursor which made me set the game inside a computer. I'll keep sharing stuff here!
Making it so that you can put more stuff inside of folders! This will open up options I didn't have before!
