Waiting for a concert at night is really hard as fuck when you're blind as shit

This morning we dedicated the new children's center at the Altadena Public Library which is now going to be under construction to my father and brother it will be known as the Anthony Mitchell Sr and Justin Mitchell Children's Center

I was trying to tag open mike eagle but my voice to text seems to make that impossible because he's an awesome Mutual and this is my third time seeing him in concert and each time I go the venue keeps getting bigger anyway if anyone else is going tonight I'm the black guy with a cane

On my way to see one of my favorite rappers in open mike eagle who was performing with clipping tonight who I also can't wait to see it's going to be dope as hell

It's kind of messed up that both 1984 and A Brave New World both ended up being right about the future

I went back to Jujitsu about 4 weeks ago and I absolutely love it since I cannot currently draw paint or do photography is one of the few things from my old life that I can still do while I wait to see if I will get any part of my eyesight back

So a little update I can finally get into my messages again so feel free to send me a message I got the accessibility features working and also I went back to jujitsu I've been there for a month now I absolutely love it

It took a little over a year but my family is finally in their final resting place thank you for everyone that has gone through this with me

I've decided that if I do not get my eyesight back and I'm unable to paint for a job I would like to move into both production and distribution for TV films and animation if I cannot make things myself I would love to help others

If you are the type to watch the Rose Parade on New Year's there will be a float dedicated to everyone that died in the fires I cannot see it myself but I hear looks nice

This has been the longest set of years ever and even a year ago today I basically cracked my head open and had to go to the hospital which started this whole really bullshit cycle for me and I'm still exhausted

You know what lately I've come to really appreciate the late night phone call especially when the PTSD keeps me up at night

Have months of recovery ahead of me for my eyes but I'm so eager to create things I'm currently trying to figure out writing without having the ability to write it's making me stir crazy

Last week was the longest ever I had my brother's birthday invasive eye surgery and then my dad's birthday both of us should have been here to go through this with me but I'm still here and I'm off bed rest and I'm going to be okay I just have a long recovery ahead of me
