Are you a Substack reader? How do you deal with the inbox? With no bulk archive or bulk delete I never read anything because it’s never empty. Ideally I would see the posts I haven’t read yet, read them, and the inbox would then be empty. Do I really have to archive each post individually?

They bit through the plastic on cauliflower yesterday! I set the head on the counter and 30 seconds later they were trying to unwrap it! Little velociraptors!

I am extra stressed about the eating because Peach is recovering from a tummy thing and is eating very expensive Rx food right now, and her feline trash can hoovering of any food-adjacent item she can find is NOT HELPING.

#1 They are VERY CUTE
#2 They are super stressing me out right now because they bite through any kind of food packaging they can find, human or cat food. They opened a cabinet today, tore through a treat bag and had a feast and probably some pieces of the package.

Waking my kids up for school was one of the highest anxiety times of my motherhood. I’m sorry, for me it was a just get through it stage, I hope something works better for yours!

I am really sorry to say that for mine nothing worked except time and maturity.

And her nose is split perfectly two different colors! Even the vet commented how pretty she is, 💅

Not defending, I mostly don’t know what I’m doing with cat nutrition, so I completely agree with you!

It’s commercially produced, so there’s that. At our previous vet visit the other vet was ok with us sticking with it but not exclusively. I have no strong opinion but figured I’d do what they were used to/what the AWL recommended for at least a period of time.

Also for anybody interested, if you recall, the rescue where we got the cats prefers a raw and limited ingredient diet including raw goats milk. The vet said 100% do not do the raw food and raw milk. That could have contributed to her situation. Can’t make a definitive connection, but it’s no good.
