Chart showing that even if someone starts work today aged 18 on $106,000 and gets a 3.7% pay rise every ever, they will still only have $2.1m in super when they retire
Worried you might one day have more than $3m in super and then might get less of a tax break?
First off, seriously, you are worried about having $3m in super??
Secondly, as @grogsgamut.bsky.social writes, stop worrying you are not going to ever have $3m

Must be right incantation however.
Magical ward against failing.
For those wondering, the last time the federal Coalition split was in 1987, under pressure from the Qld nationals during the failed Joh for Canberra push. The Hawke govt went on to win Labor's biggest HOR majority (until 2025).

Ok. I think we’ve had enough “why did the Libs lose” articles.
Let’s move on to things that matter, rather than the trivial inner workings of a minor party.
Overhaul the tax system you say? OK. End the Capital Gains Tax discount... improve the PRRT... bring in a wealth tax.... also a broad super profits tax.
Cheers, thanks for the suggestion.
Handing over academic institutional leadership to a roving class of elite administrators, none remaining in place long, just climbing ladders and cashing checks … was a mistake,

MIT following Harvard's lead here
Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.
Still disgusted I cannot watch our federal political debates on the ABC.
Turns out the laws of physics cannot be revoked or overruled.
i’m of the view that it would be genuinely idiotic for the white house to invoke the insurrection act if it wants to stay in power. if you are going to call out troops to confront throngs of protesters, you need to be extremely confident that they will obey every order given to them.
