please bless the poor coyote
who lives where we say she shouldn't
nosing through the garbage piles
that rot along the freeway
please aid the stray coyote
and keep her from the trapper's snare
pray she sniffs out all the poison
pray she lives to run away
please guide the lost coyote
bless and keep her as she wanders
may she always come back home
may it all turn out okay
please feed this gaunt coyote
may she carry a full litter
of five to eight pups or more
who live to raise their own one day
pray for the sly coyote
may she rest in sunny places
and run in open fields
and may she never want for prey
please love the dear coyote
who lived when we said she couldn't
may all her years be kind to her
may she go gently on her way

That said, I've recently been using a reusable insulin pen, which I've been able to acc do by myself!!
Its been such a lifesaver for me, albeit I had a wonderful wonderful friend of mine (she's a diabetic so uses them anyway) help me get started with it

I had the same issue, and I could never overcome my phobia. I still need someone to do it for me. I think a lot of people conflating a mild discomfort or fear with a full blown phobia, and that's where it comes from.
