I tell my students how much I hate writing research articles. They seem to like hearing that. They think professors are some academic gods. No. I am a true screw up in so many ways. I find being genuine like Carl Rogers connects me with students and helps their success.

I almost exclusively use AA for the past 28 years. Sometimes Delta or United. Allegiant for quick (under 1.5 hour) hops. But AA has always been excellent, to me.

I used to work with a senior dev manager / software engineer and he was quite hostile to the idea of quality engineering and it’s not that surprising he is now a senior director of stuff at Google Gemini for workspaces or something like that at Google.

That isn't my reason for wanting high oil prices.

I want most American consumers to know misery. They brought this plague upon the planet. They deserve woe.
