I’m a little concerned there’s something going on in the background to rupture relationships, confidence that hasn’t made it to public domain. They are an international mix, perhaps politics has caused conflict? Hoping I’m wrong.

Ottawa’s play was lacklustre. So many giveaways, missed passes, fans on the puck. I hope they come out in better form for the next one. And I thought the normally unflappable Phillips looked shaky.
They played a dump and chase game but didn’t win the battles, the foot races, or the plays.

The ash like hues from the frost dust the trees and auburn grasses around the river way. There is hope for brightening in the cloud filled sky as the day awakens. All is very calm and still.

The pinecone is a fascinating example of architecture in nature. I’ve used some as Christmas decorations for over a decade, spray painted silver and gold, and they still close up if dropped in water, and open once dry.

I was taking photos of beautiful snow covered trees. This is a photo I didn’t intend to take. How often do intentions lead places we didn’t intend? How often do we take for granted infrastructure which allows us a walk around campus on a coffee break?
