It's a great litmus test to tell if people really do know their stuff, or if they're just in it for the aesthetics, glitter, wings and all.

A fantastic but cheeky way I've tried to gauge individuals about Fae in FFXIV, particularly if I'm interacting with fae blorbos is the good old question of:

"Can I have your name?"
Inversely, if they ask that first, my response is kinda like:
"No you can't have it, but you can hear of it." 🙂 hehe

And the fact that there's a HUGE chunk of Amh Araeng themed floors in Pilgrim's Traverse doesn't help either. Get me out of there 😭

It's soooo hard for me to like deserts in any game, even in FFXIV. But that said, I do have some standout favorites: Shaaloani and the desert surrounding the Royal City of Rabanastre. As for dislikes?Amh Araeng makes me sleepy; even if ShB was my favorite expansion.
