This is the W this week, what a cool thing to have at their conference
This is the W this week, what a cool thing to have at their conference
I always look forward to reading this every year, this is all the movies nominated, which always reminds me that the Oscars is more than one category
This is the L this week, the therapy comment is so disingenuous, just say you are homophobic dicks
I want to fight for people to have access to this, art should be available, I also want to say that art should be given respect and that goes for all forms, acting, pottery, dance, painting, tapestry, knitting, embroidery, singing, writing and everything in between
This music video has ballet in it and I always think about how much they are all so good at what they do

I'm going to end by saying, Pirates of Penance is a light opera, those songs are hard to get right but when they are done right? That's an amazing thing to hear. Ballet is such a skill, there is also such delicacy married to strength there
I think there is this preconception that art that is opera and ballet are only for people who get it, I really love dance and music, there's access here. I think people would cheat themselves if they didn't experience it once
This also looks really inventive and this is people at the best of their craft, doing some amazing things

This looks really cool and I bet they do some really inventive stuff with this ballet

I've never seen this but I know a lot of people who like it and I think there's always benefit from taking a risk

What a cool idea this is, Figaro I really like the music on too

So you know what? Here are some operas and ballets that are not in London (I felt like highlighting this because they are important and art matters)
This the W this week, I always try to participate in this every year and I love that there is a bingo here
Good for the NAACP, the L goes to this week BAFTA and the BBC, everything about it was mishandled and so gross
Bonus W this week for this, I'm so happy that this happened
This is the W this week, what a massive success and the local elections are in just three months
So I've now seen all of part 2 of season 4 of Bridgerton. No spoilers, I will say I like the song choices and there's a very cute shot right at the end, that I will not spoil (stay for the end of credits scene to know what I mean)
Bridgerton season 4, part 2 out tomorrow! In fact it is now in less than 10 hours, I'm going to be watching all of it as soon as it comes out
The thing about the womenβs hockey team declining the SOTU invitation is in part that sometimes, if you do not need certain kinds of power, you get to retain others.
Bonus L to the men's US hockey team, it is telling that the women's US hockey team who also got gold declined the invite to go to the White House (everything about this whole thing is maddening and could have been avoided but here we are, sigh)
This is the L this week, seriously just what the hell is going on there?
Oh I'm so happy!

It's clearer than ever that it's Green vs Reform in Gorton and Denton.
A vote for Hannah Spencer is the only way to stop Reform's hate and make hope normal again.
This is the W this week, what a great idea and I hope that everyone who wants to watch this does
I was going to ask the same question, this looks so fun
This is the L this week, as far as I'm concerned it is always this guy but you know when France is like we are going to take all your shit? Good luck

There are other movies that can and are doing something really interesting with the material, I always think of The Handmaiden in this instance or actually The Maltese Falcon (I love that movie and Bogart is amazing in the lead role)
I'm going to say this, I want books from authors that we don't have this ongoing opinion of what it should be (The Green Knight is a great example). To people who like the book? I think we can all agree that there's been no adaptation that actually gets it right
