While this is reason to revile T, people should know that for RU, it is already too late. UKR has gained a real edge from the cutoff of Starlink to RU. RU's cynical approach shows diminishing returns. UKR is full of folks who are good at life, but have learned to deal death. UKR's advantage grows

Especially because "was-crazed" suggests that the crazy is only a thing of the past; would that this were so. (Also: other should read "others".)

Lately, I have been irate with people who try to advance politically by dividing us from others. This is not the way humans succeed. In every area of our life: family, community, workplace, organizations, we succeed together. Why isn't this clear? Don't let people divide us; stick together.

Thanks. In 2012, I signed up to make phone calls against the MN Voter ID proposed Constitutional amendment. When the campaign started, a super-majority favored the amendment. But as people learned voting facts, the numbers completely reversed. It's possible that this issue will hurt GOP senators.

Just about all of this story is dismal. I hope that the judge will at least consider a motion to throw the verdict out. But the facts, at least in the article, aren't clear to me. Those who pled guilty & testified may have fed baseless anti-antifa bias. The sentences are serious. It's surreal.

Thanks for the headline calling it (just) the Kennedy Center. No Grenell fan, but isn't he more fall-guy than conspirator? His replacement won't be an improvement. The whole nation won't improve until Trump, MAGA, and GOP are voted out.

A dark thought just occurred to me: What if Trump is preparing Melania to run for president in '28, as a way to keep himself in office? I have been trying hard to tolerate, or at least ignore her. But maybe those who despise her are more aware than I am.

Um, if this is Mr. Karp's idea of "thinking", maybe people like this are not that cognitively far ahead of AI.

I wish headlines like this didn't make me so angry, but this one does. The "obvious" should have kept Trump out of the White House. We're all suffering now; heck, the whole world is. What's the way out? And I am not just talking about the Iran war.

A counterpoint on YouTube by Paul Warburg, argues that RU's gains from this war are dwarfed by its losses. One point he makes: RU can't keep producing its version of the Shahed, because Iran did not let RU in on their proprietary technology. I just wish the U.S. knew who our allies are.

Yup. Even worse, we were outvoted by young men duped by ignorant and/or corrupt influencers (how could you, Joe Rogan?). Now there's a pile of awful situations that better voters would have saved us from. Rage, then also vote.

Elsewhere I asked why no one thought to ask UKR for help w a cost-effective way to handle Shahed drones. Even worse, now we learn that UKR anticipated the problem & proposed a solution they learned out of necessity. But corrupt, clueless Trump & minions "knew better". All T touches turns to garbage.

I'd like someone to tell us why the DoD "brain trust" is only dealing w this issue now. UKR had to develop a cost-effective way to stop Iranian Shahed drones after heavy losses in its war. And it was 100 % foreseeable that the U.S. would have the same problem. What are we losing in the meantime?

A reminder: under Biden, the person responsible for and wildly successful at managing the Strategic Petroleum Reserve was Treasury Secretary Janet Yellin, whom Trump has constantly denigrated. Add this to the list of things Trump has ruined. We can't get him out of office fast enough.

I'm not sure how, even if, a T "pain point" works. It's not like he can just stop the war. I want to see polls; I want to see if even MAGA is feeling too much pain. I feel like we are living through a dark comedy (I hope it's a comedy), like The Death of Stalin.

Paging Jessica Tarlov. It's wild how Fox keeps giving her material. Let's watch the rest of the panel try to shout the truth down.

Fox: "We want to acknowledge a mistake". Maybe. But that line doesn't work for a deliberate bit of deceit, which this appears to be. And was part of this "acknowledgment" a showing of the video that should have been included, i.e., with the offending cap? No? So even their "apologies" are lies.

I want to see some polls taken during a weekend that follows the steep rise in gas prices, even assuming, which I don't, no other tragedies or Trump sins.

I want to hope that the Supreme Court is taking notes. This is the sort of person and thinking that comes to the fore under the broad grant of immunity they presented Trump with.

I don't want to "judge for myself"; that is what the judiciary is for. But no force is needed except for serious crimes; virtually none of the subjects of these arrests have committed such crimes. Let's have the analysis start there; it should save time.

I missed the naming of Hegseth as a cultural spokesman. Few in Europe go to church. In fact, the less "Christian" they are, the more democratic. My Catholic Church has never officially supported democracy (one pope condemned it; et tu, Leo?) Till then, separate church from state; you're no help.

Sorry; "There it is"? This is a major announcement made on social media. There are many things worse about this administration, but I don't want people to miss that it is sloppy and careless about protocol. Even their means of communication demean us before the world.

Rubio really said this? Sobering that he is considered a leading GOP presidential contender in '28. But this statement should make it clear, to anyone wondering, which party is the war-mongering one. I hope this haunts the GOP, but it's not a sure thing.

Well, Sen. Mullin might be an improvement, but that is mostly because almost anyone would be an improvement. If DHS continues to use its fake warrants, rather than seeking judicial ones, as the Fourth Amendment requires, we are still in a very bad place.

Yeah, just in case anyone was wondering why young men supported Trump so much more than did women (and maybe also why so many of them have a challenge with dating).

It might help everyone stay saner to realize that Trump was already slipping in the polls before the war, unlike W. Bush. If (when?) this war becomes a quagmire, it's all on him. And GOP senators, who failed to stand up for their governmental branch, might/should also be vulnerable.

Well ... maybe we can trust him not to pull the football back. After all, he looks a lot more like Charlie Brown than Lucy.

Suffering "by default"? Maybe that's some of it. But there's also way too much fault. Negligence is fault, though maybe to a lesser degree than intentional acts.
