I agree that they should have mentioned @sollenbergerrc.bsky.social on the earlier broadcast, but at some point MSNOW corrected the problem. At the beginning of Deadline yesterday they specifically mentioned his reporting when talking about the story. That's how I became aware of his scoop.

For what it's worth, I agree with pretty much everything you've said, with the one caveat about what disabled people are able to do/not do.

You shouldn't have to fight or explain anything to anyone, and I think it's shitty that people minimize racism and the harm it does.

I am not excusing his language or other's terrible racist reactions. I'm saying it's entirely possible that he is 100% against that language, said it despite that fact, and is so upset that he offended people in one of the worst ways that he's having trouble handling it properly.
