Wow that is stunning. Some of these photos are like abstract art!
Current mood
I hope that one day more people will discover this brilliant album.
Are we allowed to choose our βone other thingβ? I choose a medium cheese pizza with anchovies.
I just read that fake quote two minutes ago and immediately thought, why would he use that hyphen and the cutesy TM sign, and misspell sufficient? So dumb.
Love this, and Sulzer used to be my library too! Endless gifts from CPL.
I'm curious about this as well. I hope editors/designers at each point in the production chain were raising alarms. (former editor/copy editor/ME here)
Hi! I have YouTubeTV now but loved watching daily sumo updates on NHK World. Can you recommend a way to watch sumo in the US? (or just tell me to stay tuned for when you post resources). Also looking forward to learning more about it through your posts. Thank you!
Cleveland looks like a truly magical place
This is wonderful! I am definitely in the distraction category. Thank you for putting this together.
I agree (because ewww), but would you make an exception for a disposable cup?
I would make a snide comment about the Barefoot wine but even that is just going to end up in the toilet eventually.
Absolutely buzzing over this new video of a rarely seen giant squid
I would love to see a resurgence in sales of Bel Canto bought by a bunch of confused people who realize that they made the most wonderful mistake.
And thank you!
Hello!
I love the random beauty of these photos (I follow all the lakes) and I most of all love the unexpected otherworldliness of some of the images from these feeds. I feel sort of silly liking them sometimes -- who is even paying attention to this? -- but I love them.
Who among us
Mine has one for squirrel, and another for head cheese using the actual head of a pig. It (the cookbook, not a pig's head) is one of my cherished possessions.
Thank you for sharing these. You got to see this IN PERSON -- amazing!
It's wonderful and excellent for a late-autumn read.
Seems a bit concerning
Not a doctor! It could be a lens inserted in the eye after cataract surgery. I don't think they're uncommon. A relative had one and the reflection was a little disconcerting until you got used to it.
The kind of man who believes that only a certain kind of woman plays this game is surrounded by women who do, and they all look blankly at him in the office kitchen while he bangs on about "coarse" women, pours himself the last of the coffee and doesn't make a fresh pot.
A million times, yes. The Branagh movies, what little I could stomach of them, were unbearable.
I love how he said this--I think it's true for improv as well (TJ and Dave!). Most TV shows would fall apart if they attempted this, but they would probably be more fun to watch.
Joe McLaren's cover for my third novel Everything Will Swallow You. The book will be published on September 11th.
THREAD. After a tough few months (involving my ex-publisher Unbound ceasing to pay their authors, then disintegrating) I am enormously relieved to reveal Joe McLaren's fantastic cover for my 3rd novel.
The book will be published on September 11th.
I believe it's the best thing I've ever written.
Closed since 1981, the Uptown Theatre turns 100 years old in August. To mark the occasion, CityFiles Press is publishing "The Uptown: Chicagoβs Endangered Movie Palace," which I co-authored with James A. Pierce. Preorder for $40 here: www.cityfilespress.com/books/the-up...
I just started the audiobook this morning! Then I went to a protest. Itβs been a good day.
