Digital sketch inspired my Brazilian folklore. It portrays the figure of the "Bradador" (literally meaning "the Screamer" in Portuguese). Here's a bit of his description and story: The Bradador is a lost soul who lives in the fields of south-central Brazil. Legend has it that the Bradador was buried, but as he hadn't paid for all his sins, the earth gave him back. So the corpse, or this spirit that inhabits a dry body, wanders the woods every Friday after midnight. It is most often heard rather than seen, recognized by its terrifying, high-pitched screams that echo through the night, unsettling anyone who hears it. These cries are believed to be filled with immense sorrow, rage, or pain, often reflecting the Bradador's own suffering. For the earth to accept him back, he will have to meet a girl named Maria seven times, and only then will he be able to rest in peace. The problem is finding someone who is brave enough to overcome the fear of his terrible cries.

Every little thing has a different and personal meaning in it, and since this was one of my first times using a drawing tablet back in 2019, I tried to test all sorts of different brushes in it, as well as grow familiar with digital art in general. It's a beautiful mess. I absolutely love how it turned out.
