Never thought I'd see somebody get 80 points again after Kobe did it. It puts in perspective how incredible Wilt was to get 100
Salute Bam Adebayo getting 83!!!! That was remarkable.

Ahhhh man. This song was a part of my HS radio memories around 2000-02. The local rock radio station in LA loves 311 - but I guess that fits the crowd you said loved 311. Lotta cats I knew dug them
Not the best lyrics but fun b/c of memories loving their albums
This devilish, cruel winter got me thrilled to see 60 degrees today. We survived heavy snow and bitter cold for this goodness. Soon, this will feel normal and welcoming.
I see your point, old chap.
Well let’s see the EPL table…..
Oh dear. Isn’t that a mess.
I mean….we just talking about this week being rough. So what they’re leading the table.
What’d I say? I’m not that bad rooting for a team that’s left me hanging for a while
Long as it works. Can’t be any wilder than Atletí making my life miserable as a Barcelona fan.
Sir Hammond on duty over there.
Amazing
A portrait of Bob Power in a studio leaning against a mixing board.
Salute to a man who was probably the single most important studio engineer of my most formative years and beyond. He shaped sound, sharpened samples and varnished vocals. Tribe, De La, The Roots, Badu, D’Angelo and too many more. A true wizard.
RIP Bob Power. 🕊️
I've said that I don't care what awards Sinners wins because the acclaim is the acclaim. Ryan Coogler is a master of craft and Hollywood knows it. The public knows it based on his box office returns.
But this is pretty amazing.
It's jarring going from watching these new episodes of "Scrubs" to the older ones. Two different worlds but good feelings. We'll see how this reboot goes for 1 of my favorite shows.
I get it. It’s a strange call. Maybe it’s admitting they finally need a vet to be there longterm for this era of youth. But I don’t know.
It feels bleaker than when I showed up in 23-24 and the vibe was dead.
My lord. I'm so sorry Lizz. Prayers to them and everyone affected by this.
Anytime I hear "señores y señoras" or any variation like we just heard from the Italian announcer in that Olympic hockey arena, I can't help but think of Jane's Addiction "Stop"
Just me or anybody else raised on good alternative music?
Man you said it. It feels like teams have to be punished when they're intentionally doing things. I think Cuban made good points but those have nothing to with tanking, which I always considered no different than match-fixing/throwing games. Maybe gambling forces a closer look at this
For sure. I think Isbell is one of those where if you hear his best stuff, you’ll say okay I get it. That’s what I learned hearing his stuff with the Truckers. A band with 2 great writers and then you hear Outfit and it’s like ohhh that’s why people thought highly of him.
Thought it was interesting even if I'm against tanking for integrity reasons, let alone how it doesn't always work. Maybe it's conflating affordability should be a priority cause I don't think that means cheating fans w/a sandbagged product. there's a diff b/w being bad & being intentionally bad
I played Southeastern finally last year and I get why folks love that record (mainly Cover Me Up) so much. I came on to Isbell in 2016-17 and I love Something More than Free and the 400 Unit albums. But that album has such amazing songwriting/storytelling.
Learning the NBA, I loved reading how fast paced those 1980s Nuggets teams were. Doug Moe was running and gunning in that altitude with Alex English, Fat Lever and more. Much respect and peace to his family, loved ones and former players.
Yeah Gen-Z lololol. We were outside when that song hit and folks loved it. But somehow the kids have made it even more beloved cause when I saw them in 2019, people weren't losing their minds besides it being a popular jam.
BUT it's still a JAM, let's be clear.
I've loved this song for almost 20 years now and it's amazing hearing him sing it. His voice is still great just like when you heard it sampled on "I Wonder"
Exactly. Get rid of the rabbit ears and trust your judgement + judgement of sound wisdom. And NBA fans need to stop letting idiot takes cloud their judgement.
Life has too many examples letting bad faith folks into/leading a discussion they got no business in
The amount of sword falling should make folks who haven’t yet think. From what’s been reported, Wasserman didn’t do anything close to what Tisch did in those emails (which I read). The Athletic’s 2nd report on Tisch adds more fuel to any investigation.
Due process yes. But the clouds are dark
If Wasserman has to do this, there will be more pressure on Giants co-owner Steve Tisch
From what we know, Wasserman only sent flirty emails to Ghislaine Maxwell years before Epstein’s crimes became public. Tisch emailed Epstein directly about meeting women after his 2008 conviction.
Love this song. Love the BB King sample. It's definitely a nostalgia trip to that time/sound for me.
Awesome breakdown of Benito’s halftime show. Learned a lot
Drake Maye is hearing Mobb Deep in his head. Shook Ones because this Seattle defense is wrecking him and this offense.
