The first novel ended up being about 195k words and I need to revise it heavily and edit it. The second novel is different than the first and part of a different world or series and it’ll be under 140k words. I’m at 120K out of the projected 140K words.

Highlight for me was playing the first ever card game using the Balatro playing cards with a bunch of really awesome indie dev friends I had met over the past couple years!

Things COVID has proven:

1) The job you were told couldn’t be done remotely, can be done remotely.

2) Many disabled workers could have been working from home, but corporations just didn’t want them to.

3) Internet is a utility and not a luxury.

4) Universal healthcare is a necessity.

Once all the cybertrucks end up in scrap yards I wonder what kind of conversions you’ll see. Lowering the entire thing and knocking all the crap off to turn it into a mutant Baja Bug.

This flew under the radar, but Trump revoked a minimum wage hike for companies that contract with the government.

An estimated 390,000 workers will now see significant pay cuts.

It's not surprising that Trump's populism is fake, but it's hardly ever been more clear.
