Happy MLK Day!
I worked on this piece in my art club to be shown at our MLK assembly. I'm incredibly grateful I was able to contribute to his amazing work and be able to keep yelling his story. This isn't the finished piece. I didn't get a picture of the final product, but it still holds its impact.
Today, honor a King, not a Felon. #mlkday2025

I finished uploading all my portfolio stuff, so here's some recent work! ๐
Tonsillectomy
I made this painting for the surgeon who removed my tonsils because he saw some of my art, so I gave it as a gift. (Gouache)
Wave of Paradise
This was done as a warmup project using only three colors, white and white. I love how this turned out and liked the challenge of only three colors. (acrylic on paper)
Esther's Cottage
This piece is done on my great grandma's fabric; I wanted to match the paisley vibe in a warm cottage setting. (oil on fabric)
Eternal Glow
I wanted this piece to have a very mystical and fantasy feel. I love how this one turned out, especially the rougher background texture. (acrylic)

Killer Queen
This piece was a sequel to the Elvis painting using the same technique, this time with gold-leafed lyrics in Freddy's handwriting. (oil and gold leaf on canvas)
