Alphabetical is *the worst of all available options*. Like, I want to cast “cause damage with fire” but what I need to look up isn’t fire, it’s the sphere/ray/non-euclidian-donut shape the fire spell casts. Which is the attribute I actually care *least* about.
Not at all surprising, I am a redemption paladin IRL. It is surprising to see ranger over rogue and barbarian over sorcerer. Having bard and wizard tied for second is obvious—those are the ones other people first think of for me when they meet me.

The obvious answer is “yes”. Just play games. All the games. Any of the games.
But. For my own nickel, I’ve really enjoyed using Legends of the Mist and think its squishiness is great for improv storytelling. Particularly podcasts where viewers can’t see maps or dice rolls anyway.
This is the second YouTube professional tutorial/lecture video I’ve watched in as many days with an annoyingly loud, annoyingly repetitive background music. People. Pick a track that has more than five notes. And check your levels. For the love of donuts and all things holey!

It was a Rudolf the Red Nose story of “we accept diversity only insofar as it is profitable to the survival of our clan” with a side helping of “humans only care about interspecies survival if the charismatic species dances to their amusement”. It was grotesque. It was infuriating.

What fictional creature/villain traumatized you as a child?
In preschool they showed us the 1978 animated Puff the Magic Dragon and that night I had a nightmare about The Sneezes. I am still mildly traumatized.

I’m a redemption paladin IRL.
Playing a beautiful, seductive vain actress fleeing a dangerous past. The rest of the party is definitely waiting for me to immediately be attacked by a creature of the night. I’m sure I’ll just be able to cry and manipulate my way out of danger. That works on skeletons and giant spiders, right?
