I'm amused by thinking up nerd boy friends. This one is Max "Perf" Edwards and he's a DDR and rhythm game nerd. I'm cracking myself up with his costume design. I'm thinking he wears shoes with thick soles because he's 5' 11" but like to say he's 6' 1". 🤣

So I'm trying out working out a silhouette and erasing to create guidelines and then drawing over top. I'm trying to alter alternate between bears, bunnies and boars (and pigs but it ruins the alliterations. I did a bunny nerd boyfriend last so now it's a boar -friend.

I was trying out a different technique while sketching and this goober appeared. 🤣

I wonder if cardboard sucks up ink more. I like drawing on it though and especially how the brown contrasts with the red ink.

Yeah. It's also a good theme because I mostly have been drawing front facing characters so this will break things up.

Remembered where the color controls were. Also cropped and edited so the basket stands out more.

I like drawing in pink because it’s easier on my eyes and I do it on a light green background so it pops out.
