It is exhausting to chase down the facts following every op-ed by journalist-identified activist Jesse Singal, but this is usually the result. As I noted ~10 years ago, Singal is a once-in-a-generation problem for our children.
They won't start with banning birth control. First they'll lie about it. Then dictate who can prescribe it, use it, fund it, in what forms, and for how long. The problem is that law & medicine enshrined the belief that traits like "race," "sex," "sexuality," etc. are immutable characteristics, when they're arbitrarily constructed, mutable, & becoming more mutable. People who "pass" or straddle "immutable" categories disrupt this medico-juridical fantasy.
