I'm ending this year exhausted, and maybe a bit distraught about myself and my art. I really feel like I didn't do much. π«

I think most of all I'm more scared of myself than the world. I don't trust myself anymore (and to be fair, I'm not sure I ever did).
So, cheers to a more positive outlook in 2026, eh?
I've come to realize that I was so scared of being hurt, disappointed, let down, that I hurt myself before anything could even happen.
Even in my happiest moments, I've been fearing the end instead of enjoy the present.
It's been a year full of highs and lows. I have accomplished a lot of things actually, but it all feels like nothing now because I only seem to remember the bad.
And to be fair, a lot of those "lows" were self inflicted.

No! That's the main thing I want to try to paint more but I always feel more depressed in winter so I don't paint π
